There Was a Time When I Thought Everything Would Fade Into Nothing, and It Did

an era of stumbling
into things
that i would never have
crashed into before
but the necessary
blood that has been
spilled along the way
makes it easier not to cling
to the fuck you's
and the i hope to never see you again's
but most importantly the
it's so impossible to let go's
that have plagued the empty space
where the heart and soul
has carried me onward
now it just doesn't matter anymore
the daydream that is my consciousness
has shifted and
a new one has taken its place
thankfully
